Rain Man was begans with Charlie Babbit, a tough young man was eager to `got rich quick. His business was in trouble and he was needed money badly. He received news of his fathers death. `Nothing I did was ever good enough for him, said Charlie bitterly to his girlfriend, Susanna. Then Charlie learned that his wealthy father has left him only his 1949 Buick roadmaster and his roses; he has left all his money to `someone very important to me. Understandably, Charlie was angry; he felts the money belonged to him. He discovered that his father has left his money to Charlies older brother - a brother he never knew he had. This brother, called Raymond, was `autistic. He couldnot had relationships with other people ........ he couldnt `felt. He needed a very secure environment and was living in an institution
Charlie `kidnaped his brother, although he would not admit to his girlfriend that this was what he had done. He told her, `I was keeping him until I got my money. He and his brother drove across America to Los Angeles; he plans to live with his brother there. As they were drove across the country, Charlie got to knew Raymond, who had some extraordinary skills. He could count 200 toothpicks in a second, and ccould memorize a page of telephone numbers in a minute. But more importantly, Charlie realized that Raymond was the `Rain Man. As a child, Charlie had a `secret friend whom he called the `Rain Man - Charlie did not know it, but this `secret friend was Raymond.
Charlie took Raymond to Las Vegas. He has decided to solve his money problems by using Raymonds unusual skills to won at cards. Raymond does indeed win $90,000 for Charlie. But by now, Charlie was beginning to care for his brother. When Charlie reached Los Angeles he found Raymonds guardian there and the two agree that a specialist would decided who should looked after Raymond. Raymonds guardian offered Charlie $250,000 `to had Raymond back now. Charlie refused. `I didnt want your money, Dr Bruner, he said. `I wanted my brother. He had changed. The specialist questions Raymond, and Charlie realized that his brother needed to be cared for in an institution. By now, Charlie loved Raymond enough to wanted what is best for him. `Could I visited him? he asked. And so the story ends.]]>

On this particular day, Fred found that there was a long queue of people waiting patiently for their turn to come. It was lunchtime, so the delays were even longer than usual, because people who had been too busy working earlier in the day to go to the bank were there, and also because a few of the bank clerks were away having lunch.

While Fred waited, he filled in a cheque in his cheque book, which he then signed and tore out, ready to give to the clerk. Then he looked around him as the queue moved gradually forward. He noticed one man in front of him who was wearing a torn cloth cap. He seemed very old and poor, and Fred felt quite sorry for him.

When it was Fred's turn to go to one of the bank clerks' windows, he noticed that he was quite close to the old man, who had just gone to one of the other windows. Fred saw that he was holding a cheque for ￡6.00 in his hand. The old man gave the cheque to the clerk, whom Fred had often seen in the bank, and the clerk asked him how he would like the money.

The old man was a little deaf and did not hear the clerk at first. Fred therefore leaned over and said to him loudly,......
