Senin de söylediğin gibi "A" ve "B" şıklarında farklı yapılar kullanılmış..

"A" şıkkında "even though"
"B" şıkkında "so that" kalıpları kullanılmış..
"C" şıkkında "we encouraged him" ifadesi cümlenin yüklemdeki "rica ettik" anlamını karşılamıyor çünkü "encourage" = "cesaretlendirmek" anlamını verir...
"E" şıkkında "the activities of the Soviet spies" ifadesi "Sovyet casusluk faaliyetleri" anlamını karşılamıyor ve ikinci cümleye "for" yani "çünkü" ile başlamış; bağlaçlı cümle manayı tam karşılamıyor..
